Hi guys,
I'm looking for a 2008 or newer Triumph Speed Triple. I'm looking to spend from $6k to $9k depending on condition (obviously 9k better be a new bike). I'd prefer the color black but might live with blue. I'm not looking to travel more than 400 miles to look at it/pick it up...unless it is a brand new bike at a dealership that is on sale at an awesome price (then perhaps I'll go out of state to pick it up/get it shipped here).

$50 finders fee : As a motivation to have people being on the lookout for the Speed Triple for me. I have decided to offer a 'Finders Fee' to the first person who finds the bike that I end up buying. Please don't get discouraged/mad if I don't end up buying the bike that you recommended as I'm selective in finding the right bike...as I'm sure you would be if you are about to drop $9k on a bike in this economy.

With that being said, if I do end up buy the bike that you recommend, count on me sending you a $50 check as a token of my appreciation.

I plan to keep an eye on the obvious places myself: craigslist (Houston, Austin, Dallas, College Station, San Antonio), cycletrader, and ebay. So far, I haven't found what I've been looking for in the last few weeks...perhaps you know of some other sites/deals. Feel free to post up here any of the deals that you find that meet the criteria listed (even on the above mentioned places---you'll still get the $50 if you're the first and I end up buying it).
